At the IET, making our world a better place starts by creating a better place for our people. At the IET you’ll have more than just a job. Our work is exciting and challenging, connecting the people who solve the problems that matter. It means working with us has real meaning and impact, and you’ll grow – professionally and personally – in ways you never thought possible.
What you’ll be doing
As our EDI Training and Delivery Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, impactful EDI training that helps organisations across STEM create more inclusive and equitable workplaces. With a focus on our WISE product offer, you’ll design and deliver workshops, webinars, training courses, and consultancy support, both in person and online, ensuring every session is engaging, evidence-based and tailored to client needs.
A key focus of the role will be developing new EDI content and resources that reflect best practice, evolving legislation, and emerging challenges in STEM. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their goals, shape learning experiences that meet those needs, and ensure our products and services create measurable impact.
Collaboration will be central to your success. You’ll partner with colleagues across internal teams to enhance and refine our EDI offer, strengthen customer relationships, and support wider business objectives. You’ll also act as a trusted advocate for our members and clients, ensuring their voices are represented in the development of future tools, training and services.
This is a role for someone who brings confidence, empathy, and expertise to every workshop and webinar, and who thrives on delivering training that empowers others to learn, grow and drive meaningful change.
What we hope you can bring to the role
We’re looking for an experienced training and development professional with a strong track record in delivering EDI training, consultancy, and practical support to organisations. You’ll bring deep subject matter expertise in equality, diversity and inclusion, ideally with experience working in or alongside STEM employers, and a passion for translating complex topics into accessible, engaging learning experiences.
You’ll be confident working directly with clients, and you will have the ability to understand their EDI challenges, shape tailored solutions, and build strong, trusted relationships. You’ll have experience creating training content, developing resources, and ensuring all materials are aligned to legislation, best practice and sector standards.
If you bring curiosity, compassion and a commitment to helping organisations achieve meaningful change, we’d love to hear from you.
We’d love to get to know you
