If you’ve got solid practice experience and love supporting clients with their accounting and compliance needs - this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Part-Time Practice Accounts Senior, you’ll take responsibility for preparing accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You’ll also assist with VAT returns, management accounts, and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring every client receives a high-quality, accurate, and professional service.

• Prepare year-end accounts for a mixed client portfolio.
• Complete VAT returns and management accounts.
• Carry out bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Review and support the work of junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with tax computations and respond to accounting queries.

You’re an experienced accounts professional who thrives in a busy practice environment and enjoys taking ownership of your workload. You’re confident, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering the best service to your clients.

You’ll need:

• Previous accountancy practice experience (essential).
• Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks.
• Experience with Nomi software (desirable - training can be provided).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload effectively and meet deadlines.

• Competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata (depending on experience).
