An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join this leading accountancy firm’s Audit & Assurance division in Glasgow. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients, lead and mentor a high-performing team, and play a key role in shaping the success of the regional audit function.
Key Responsibilities - Manage a portfolio of audit clients, overseeing all planning, fieldwork, and completion stages.
- Review and prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations for limited companies.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Advise clients on practical regulatory, VAT, and tax matters.
- Coach and develop junior members of the team, supporting their growth and progression.
- Drive profitability and workflow planning across your client base.
- Collaborate with regional partners on special projects and strategic initiatives.
About You - ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing audits within a professional practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Confident leading teams and developing client relationships.
- Commercially astute with a proactive, consultative mindset.
