Events Administrator/Part- time only 20 hours per week
Our client is looking for a office based (no home working) part time administrator with Events experience to support a busy Events team, the working week is Monday-Friday either 9am-1pm or 10am-2pm with a salary of £26,000 pro rata.

Duties
Administration across event planning including updating records and following processes.
Event Planning: Support with organising logistics for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies.
Event information: Drafting and distributing information to speakers, sponsors and delegates.
Booking Administration: Taking and processing telephone or email bookings for conferences, awards and other events, inc. raising invoices and for credit card bookings.
Attendees: Generating delegate lists and reports for events.
Budgets: An understanding of maintaining simple budgets relating to events.
Mailings: Preparation and distribution of mailings to potential delegates regarding events.
Maintain databases, contact lists, and event documentation inc. Speaker database (headshots, bio’s and logos) and Venues databases: (capacities, costs and photos etc.)
Liaise with vendors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Support digital event platforms for virtual or hybrid events.
Preparation for events inc. event documents, agendas, itineraries, briefing packs and badges.
Slides: Creating PowerPoint presentations when required.
Events: Attendance at some events required to support on-site event operations, including set-up, registration, and attendee assistance.
Emails: Responding to general emails and shared inboxes.
Technical Skills – Essential:
MS Office: including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
Technical Skills – Preferred: zoom, Canva and CRM Software.
Personal Skills and Requirements:
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to follow event processes meticulously.
Attention to detail at all times and excellent proof-reading skills.
A proactive approach; able to drive activity and results whilst prioritising tasks.
A team player with a flexible attitude at all times, willing to help out wherever needed to get the job done.
A ‘completer / finisher’ who is self-motivated.
Ad hoc tasks: Any additional tasks not included above as requested by line manager or any member of SLT.
