Your new company

A specialist consultancy firm providing planning, architectural, and highways consultancy services, primarily supporting small and domestic sites is seeking a highly experienced PA. The business is growing and looking to improve efficiency and scale operations. Alongside the consultancy, you'll also assist with a property business managing several residential lets. The company is based in Norwich and will soon move to new offices in the city centre with free parking.


Your new role

As Personal Assistant to the Directors, you'll provide high-level administrative and operational support across both businesses. This is a senior position where you'll act as the first point of contact for clients and consultants, manage diaries and emails, draft correspondence, and oversee invoicing and reporting using QuickBooks. You'll also assist with property management tasks, including tenant communications and contract oversight. The role is initially part-time (approx. 25 hours per week, 2-3 days) with the potential to progress to a full-time, permanent position. Flexible, hybrid working is available.


What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a PA supporting senior executives or Directors.
  • Ability to use your own initiative to help scale the business and improve efficiency across the business.
  • Proven ability to manage diaries, calls, and emails professionally and act as a gatekeeper.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with digital platforms; willingness to learn new tools and AI applications.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence without guidance.

Desirable:Knowledge of planning applications, architecture, or PA experience within estate agencies/local authorities.
