Transport Administrator

Here in GXO Warrington (WA5), we’re working together with Iceland Foods and on the look-out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast-paced transport office. You’ll be working on a full-time,permanent basis, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 18:00-06:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
- Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
- Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’S
- Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in transport environment essential
- Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
- Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
- IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
