Transport & Reporting Coordinator

GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of Transport & Reporting Coordinator, to work at our busy Currys site in Newark. Here you will play a key role in managing and improving the flow of operational data and reporting systems.


The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and you will work on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, predominantly Monday to Friday. The hours of work will be 07:00 – 16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Assisting in the compilation of weekly transport data, reporting on the control and adherence for the live plan, planned vs actual times and allocation
  • Responsible for creating a working link between the planning and operational teams, supporting with key data capture and analysis
  • Act as a key point of contact for stores and the customer service delivery team, providing updates on delivery issues, while also handling driver phone queries and accurately logging all calls
  • Support the transport operation in strict adherence to company process and current legislation in relation to Operator Licensing and Health & Safety requirements
  • Support the planning operation ensuing the feedback is given in a timely manner to ensure the relevant changes or adaptations are made to meet customer requirements and service needs in line with budget


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Proven experience in transport or similar fast-paced environment, with a background in customer-facing roles and operational coordination
  • Knowledgeable in transport systems and compliance, including tachograph regulations, working time directive, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with TMS, Microlise, and Paragon is desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations diplomatically and confidently over the phone
  • Customer-focused and resilient, able to work under pressure while delivering excellent service and demonstrating strong numeracy and literacy
