I am supporting a highly respected boutique independent advisory firm in London that specialises in providing strategic financial planning and wealth management advice to High-Net-Worth clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner to join a small, highly skilled team working on complex, technical, and often niche planning scenarios.

My client is an independent wealth advisory practice known for delivering clear, objective, and highly personalised financial planning. They work closely with individuals, families and professional connections on a broad range of UK and international planning areas including pensions, investments, estate planning, IHT, life assurance and more specialist structuring work.

The firm offers a supportive and collaborative environment, strong central resource through a wider advisory group, and the chance to work closely with senior advisers on technical and sophisticated planning cases. They now require a senior paraplanner to help support ongoing growth.

• We are looking for a highly experienced paraplanner with at least five years of experience and ideally holding Chartered or Fellowship status (or close to achieving this).
• You should bring strong technical capability and ideally familiarity with areas such as:
• Family investment companies
• Offshore trusts
• International pension arrangements
• Complex or bespoke planning strategies
• Previous client-facing experience is important — whether through attending meetings, handling calls or managing email queries — as the firm encourages paraplanners to build strong relationships and contribute directly to client discussions.
• This role would suit someone who enjoys complex work, wants to broaden their technical knowledge, and thrives in a supportive, intellectually stimulating environment. The successful candidate will be dynamic, commercially aware, and capable of producing consistently high-quality, detailed work with a conscientious approach.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing accurate, compliant, well-drafted advice within agreed timescales
• Preparing for and participating in client meetings
• Acting as a technical resource for advisers
• Handling client queries over phone and email
• Contributing to marketing content and attending occasional client events
• Liaising effectively between advisers and support teams
• Playing a key role in enhancing client experience and internal knowledge
