Job Advert: Home Help / Family Assistant

Location: Grayshott, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a reliable, warm and proactive Home Help / Family Assistant to support our busy household in Grayshott. This role involves a blend of childcare, household tasks, and general family support. The ideal candidate will be organised, friendly, and confident working with children.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 3pm – 7pm
• Potential earlier start on Wednesdays
• Occasional weekend help/overtime when needed
• Longer hours during school holidays to support with childcare

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with the children after school
• Being proactive with activities, homework support, and after-school routines
• Attending after-school clubs with the children and parents when required
• Preparing and cooking family meals
• Weekly meal prep and making the children’s packed lunches
• Light cleaning, tidying and general housekeeping
• Washing, drying and folding clothes
• Helping to keep the home running smoothly and offering support where needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone dependable, positive and helpful
• Comfortable and confident working with children
• A full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to take initiative around the home
• Trustworthy, responsible and easy to communicate with

Pay:

• Dependent on experience
