Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about providing an engaging and nurturing environment for young learners. You will play an important role in shaping the educational journey of children in Key Stage 1, with a focus on fostering a love for learning and ensuring all children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Assess and track pupil progress, setting individual targets to ensure all students make the best possible progress
Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages both academic and personal growth
Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the varying needs of pupils
Develop strong relationships with students, supporting their emotional and social development alongside their academic achievement
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives
Regularly communicate with parents to update them on pupil progress and celebrate their child’s achievements
Actively contribute to whole-school projects, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or a keen interest in supporting younger children’s learning
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
A flexible, proactive, and creative approach to teaching
Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
