Finance Director - Creative Agency

We’re hiring a Finance Director for a fast-growing business.

This is a newly created, pivotal role. As the business brings finance operations in house, you will be central to establishing all processes, controls and BAU operations to support as the business grows.

This role is ideal for an ambitious Financial Controller ready for their first Finance Director position looking to be both strategic and hands-on.

The Role

• Oversee financial integrity, reporting and compliance across global entities
• Build and embed processes, controls and systems from the ground up
• Drive commercial behaviour and profitability across the agency
• Partner with the Board on strategic initiatives
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
• Manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisers, insurers and banks
• Coach and develop the finance team as the business grows

The Person

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) from a top accountancy practice
• Finance leadership within fast-paced, people-based agency
• Commercially minded, able to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Hands-on, proactive and comfortable building processes from scratch
• A strong communicator, able to influence non-finance stakeholders and challenge and support a Board
• US experience and familiarity with agency finance systems would be a bonus.
