About the Firm Our client is an established West end high street Law firm, renowned for its expertise in residential property transactions. With a reputation for quality services, this firm offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Conveyancing Assistant or legal secretary to join their team and support the delivery of high-quality client service.


Key Responsibilities Assisting solicitors and conveyancers in managing high-value residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leasehold matters

Preparing and organising legal documents and correspondence

Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals to ensure a smooth conveyancing process

Managing file administration, including opening, updating, and closing files

Assisting with post-completion matters such as SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements

Providing general administrative and clerical support to the residential property team

Requirements Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or in a similar role within a law firm

Good understanding of the conveyancing process and residential property transactions

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction

Ability to manage workloads effectively and work both independently and as part of a team

Proactive and professional attitude with a genuine interest in property law
