We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to a young man with Cerebral Palsy in his home.

Duties

• Assist the client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide patient care including physio therapy
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with animal care owed by client
• Drive clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
• Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational policies

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
• Certification in first aid is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support
• Valid driving licence for transportation duties and car
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage behaviour effectively
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings and overnight as needed
