Part-Time Events and Marketing Coordinator

Our client, a well-established charity in the heart of Windsor, is looking for a Part-Time Events & Marketing Coordinator to join their friendly and growing team. In this newly created role, you will play a key part in supporting the charity's events, marketing and communications activities. From helping to deliver high-quality events to assisting with content creation and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, you'll provide essential administrative, logistical, and creative support.

Three days / 21 hours per week

Salary for 21 hours is £19,800 (FTE salary is £33,000)

Key Duties:

  • Assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of a wide range of events, including organising event materials, resources and supplies
  • Coordinating with venues, suppliers and speakers
  • Supporting with on-the-day event delivery
  • Preparing images for marketing campaigns, website updates, social media, press releases and printed materials
  • Creating, editing and scheduling content for newsletters, websites, printed materials, and social media using tools such as Canva or similar
  • Developing case studies and stories to support PR and media activity
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks, including data entry, managing email communications and calendar management
  • Support internal team communication and coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Key Skills:

  • Previous events and marketing experience, preferably within the charity sector
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, confident in creating and editing content
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively within a small team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Eventbrite, Adobe and Canva is desirable
  • Availability to work flexible hours to support events
  • Understanding of membership organisations
  • UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
