What you’ll be doing

You will provide a central point foradministration, facilities and operational support across two offices in Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Home working can be accommodated one day per week, so you will likely wish to spend two days per week in each office.

The role will involve:

  • Managing reception and administrative staff across two offices
  • Workforce planning, addressing employee training and development needs
  • Facilitate investigations into client complaints, working closely with the appropriate Director
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Supporting new starters - onboarding, ensuring inductions run smoothly
  • Organising internal training sessions, courses and webinars
  • Developing, implementing and reviewing administrative systems and processes
  • Liaising with suppliers and negotiating contracts
  • Overseeing environmental management initiatives and ensuring compliance
  • Conducting office audits to ensure compliance

Who we’re looking for:

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Experience of working in a similar role for an SRA-regulated law firm is essential
  • Great communication skills with a personable and approachable demeanour
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to continually improve processes
  • Experience of managingsuppliers, negotiating contracts and dealing with ever-changing priorities
  • Experience of dealing with recruitment administration and onboarding
  • Experience of dealing with office management, facilities and/or operations management

What’s on offer:

This is a permanent job opportunity. Core hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch (35 hours). Applications will also be considered for candidates wishing to work four days a week (28 hours)
