Part-Time RICS Registered Residential Surveyor

Specialising in Level 2 & Level 3 Surveys mostly with an option to carry out Market Valuations/Party Wall Surveys/Schedules of dilipidations.

Contract / Freelance Position – Flexible Hours

We are seeking an experienced RICS Registered Residential Surveyor to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. The role primarily involves carrying out Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys, Level 3 Building Surveys, and occasional Market Valuations across residential properties.

This position is ideally suited to:

Key Responsibilities

Surveying & Reporting

• Undertake Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys in accordance with RICS standards.

• Produce accurate, detailed reports.

• Conduct residential Market Valuations.

• Identify defects and provide professional recommendations.

• Maintain compliance with RICS standards.

Client Interaction

• Communicate findings clearly to clients.

• Respond to survey and valuation queries.

• Deliver excellent customer service.

Professional Conduct

• Work independently while representing the brand professionally.

• Follow health & safety requirements.

• Maintain appropriate PII insurance (for contractors).

Requirements

Essential

• RICS Registered Surveyor (AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS) or to be a Qualified Structural Engineer

• Experience delivering Level 2 and Level 3 surveys

• Strong understanding of UK residential construction and building pathology

• Excellent report-writing skills

• Professional, reliable, and detail-focused

Desirable

• Registered Valuer (VRS)

• Freelance / independent surveying experience

• Familiarity with digital reporting software
