About HeatPumps4Pools
HeatPumps4Pools operates three complementary websites/brands serving UK pool owners and trade customers. We’re growing quickly and want to step up the consistency and creativity of our marketing — especially across our product content, site updates, and social presence.
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Marketing Executive who enjoys owning the day-to-day marketing engine, improving how our products show up online, and building a social media presence from near-zero into something we’re proud of.
The Role
This is a practical, varied marketing role with three main pillars:
- Product updates & website updates
- Marketing collateral creation (images, graphics, light copy, etc.)
- Social media management (starting from scratch)
You’ll work closely with the sales team and management team in the office, helping keep our brands fresh, accurate, and visible — and using modern AI tools to do so efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1) Product & Website Content
- Maintain and improve product listings across all three brands/websites.
- Support adding new products, update specs, pricing, availability, FAQs, and supporting content.
- Ensure product pages are clear, persuasive, consistent, and SEO-friendly.
- Spot gaps in content (missing images, unclear descriptions, outdated info) and fix them.
- Coordinate website updates such as banners, on-site promotions, landing pages, and seasonal messaging.
- Support light on-page SEO improvements (titles, meta, internal linking, structure).
2) Marketing Collateral & Creative Assets
- Create and refresh marketing materials: product visuals, infographics, simple videos/reels, banners, and web graphics.
- Develop brand-consistent templates for repeatable content.
- Work with suppliers/manufacturers to source or improve product imagery.
- Prepare collateral for email, social, website, and trade use.
- Keep a neat, organised asset library across brands.
3) Social Media Management & Growth
- Set and implement a social media plan across relevant platforms (likely Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn as needed).
- Build a consistent posting rhythm (we’re currently doing little to none).
- Create and schedule posts, reels, and stories.
- Engage with comments/messages and nurture community.
- Track what works (basic analytics + iteration).
- Coordinate occasional campaigns/promos aligned to seasonal demand.
4) Influencers / Partnerships (TBD)
- Identify potential pool, home-improvement, or lifestyle influencers.
- Help trial influencer collaborations: outreach, briefs, content review, tracking results.
- Maintain a light partnership pipeline as we test this channel.
5) AI-Enabled Marketing
- Use AI tools (especially Affinity, plus others like ChatGPT/Canva/Adobe Firefly if useful) to speed up and level-up content creation.
- Bring ideas for how AI can improve workflows, consistency, and output across brands.
What Success Looks Like (First 3–6 Months)
- Product pages are consistently up-to-date, polished, and conversion-friendly.
- On-site marketing assets look modern and aligned across all three brands.
- A social media presence is established with regular posting and early traction.
- We have a repeatable “content machine” using AI and templates to keep things efficient.
- Clear reporting on what’s been done and what’s working.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years in a hands-on marketing role (e-commerce or product-led business ideal).
- Strong content instincts: you can spot what’s unclear, outdated, or unconvincing and improve it.
- Confidence updating websites and product content (WordPress/WooCommerce or similar).
- Comfortable creating visual content (Canva/Adobe suite or equivalent).
- Social media fluency — especially creating content, not just scheduling it.
- Good organisation and follow-through across multiple brands/projects.
- Solid written English and a practical, customer-friendly tone.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SEO for product/catalogue sites.
- Light email marketing familiarity (we use Hubspot).
- Interest in sustainability/renewables/home energy.
- Experience working with influencers or affiliate marketing.
- Competence with short-form video editing.
The Kind of Person We’re Looking For
- Proactive & self-starting: you see what needs doing and get on with it.
- Practical creative: you don’t wait for perfect conditions — you make good things quickly and improve them over time.
- Detail-minded: products and specs matter, and accuracy builds trust.
- AI-positive: you enjoy using tools like Affinity to boost output and quality.
- Comfortable with variety: you like switching between product updates, design tasks, and social content in the same week.
Working Pattern & Pay
- Office-based role.
- Part-time: flexible between 2 and 4 days per week.
- Salary:£25,000 per annum pro-rata (full-time equivalent).
- Potentially opportunity to grow hours/responsibility over time if desired.
