Premier Education is delighted to be supporting a busy Wythenshawe school in their search for confident and reliable supply teachers. Regular teaching is currently available in Year 5. Flexibility for other KS2, KS1 and EYFS classes is highly desirable.
About the role:
- Teaching a Year 5 class
- Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers to ensure pupil progress
- Participation in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life as required
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in KS2 settings is desirable
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
Pay:
£130 - £170 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
