Hours: Part Time, Flexible hours, including some evenings & weekends

Salary: £30-£35K (DOE)

Are you passionate about gymnastics, child development, and leading a fun, energetic team?

Balance & Beam is looking for an inspiring Head Coach & Programme Director & to lead their exciting children’s gymnastics programmes for ages 4 months to 12 years.


Job Description:

  • Plan, deliver, and review engaging gymnastics and child development sessions.
  • Lead by example, coaching children, supporting parents, and mentoring your coaching team.
  • Develop and manage lesson plans using the RISE coaching portal.
  • Ensure sessions are fun, safe, and tailored to each age group.
  • Manage, train, and inspire your team of senior, assistant, and junior coaches.
  • Oversee health, safety, and safeguarding across all programmes.
  • Communicate clearly with parents and staff, keeping progress records up to date.


Qualifications

  • Strong experience in children’s gymnastics coaching and programme design.
  • Relevant qualification in Sports Science, Coaching, or Physical Education (or equivalent).
  • Up-to-date g BG Gymnastics coaching award (minimum Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Valid First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Enhanced DBS check required. (or willingness to obtain)
