Job Role: School Site Manager

Location: Enfield, London

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-term Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: 8:00am – 16:00pm

Salary: £16–£20 per hour

Complete Classroom Services are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of school facilities. We are partnering with a group of schools in Enfield, and we have full-time roles available for an immediate start for the right candidate.

About the role:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that school buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will supervise site staff, manage external contractors, and ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations across the school site(s).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and operational standards across multiple school sites
• Lead and manage a team of caretakers and site staff
• Coordinate both planned and reactive maintenance work
• Ensure strict compliance with all health & safety, fire safety, and safeguarding requirements
• Manage budgets, procurement, and relationships with external contractors
• Support the planning and execution of capital works, refurbishments, and improvement projects
• Conduct regular site inspections, checks, and risk assessments
• Ensure the school premises remain safe, secure, and fully operational at all times

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in a facilities, estates, or premises management role (school experience desirable)
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and statutory compliance
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers or contractors
• Confident use of facilities management systems and software
• Key holder experience
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
