Yoga & Wellness Specialist – Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Nr Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

Salary: £13.70 per hour plus 20% commission scheme on private 1-1 sessions

Hours: 28 hours per week

Two weekends off per month !

A contemporary wellness retreat in Essex is seeking a passionate and versatile Yoga & Wellness Instructor to join their dynamic team. Set within seven acres of peaceful countryside and less than an hour from Central London, this eco-conscious retreat is dedicated to helping guests reset, recharge, and transform their wellbeing.

With state-of-the-art facilities including a cryotherapy chamber, salt block sauna, heated leisure pool, and a fully equipped gym, the retreat focuses on complete wellness—encompassing fitness, relaxation, and nutrition.

The Role

• This is a varied position where no two days are the same. Instructors are responsible for delivering a range of classes and supporting guests in their wellness journey. Duties include:Leading group classes (Yoga essential, plus Pilates, HIIT, Circuit Training, Dance, Water Aerobics, etc.)
• Hosting morning walks and wellness talks
• Delivering PT sessions and motivating clients
• Supporting guests with cryotherapy experiences
• Contributing to the smooth daily running of the wellness programme

Requirements

• Level 3 Personal Training qualification (minimum)
• Yoga qualification (essential)
• Ability to teach more than one discipline
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work shifts (earlies from 7am, lates until 9:15pm)
• Weekend availability (minimum 2 per month)
