We are recruiting for an Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join a busy rug and carpet design studio on a part time basis 16 hours per week. The company is based in the Greenwich area and design and supply premium, high-end rugs and carpets to the interior design industry. The role will work alongside the small team of designers and assist with daily operations and logistics. The company is seeking someone who is quite technically minded and who can use Microsoft Word, Excel and Xero Accounting software.
General Duties will involve:
Manage all shipping, courier bookings, and delivery coordination.
Prepare customer quotes, process invoices, and support financial workflows using
Xero.
Create and maintain an integrated, accurate price list that links across teams and systems.
Keep CRM updated and organised with customer and job information.
Review current processes, streamline workflows, and introduce simple, effective systems to improve efficiency.
Develop templates, automations, and filing structures to streamline operations.
Provide administrative and organisational PA support to senior leadership.
Support the development and future launch of an e-commerce arm, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing to translate sales insights and identify range gaps into new product concepts.
The company is looking for an organised team player who enjoys implementing new processes and who enjoys supporting a busy and creative team.
The company is offering a salary in the region of £32,000 pro rata. The ideal working pattern would be 4 days a week Monday to Thursday from 9am – 1pm but the company is open to suggestions and can be flexible. They also offer private health insurance, 20 days holiday plus public holidays (pro rata), Museum pass, hybrid working / work from home.
