Court of Protection Solicitor

I am currently working with a Legal 500, national law firm who are looking to grow their Court of Protection team in Birmingham.

About the role

The Successful Court of Protection Solicitor /Associate will gain exposure to a broad mix of working including:

  • Deputyship services
  • Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Personal Injury Trusts
  • Statutory Will Applications
  • Ongoing administration of financial affairs of individuals who lack mental capacity

About the person

Given the nature of the work, you will be a UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Court of Protection matters. Experience of supervising junior fee earners is desirable but not essential.

You will be personable and able to handle a caseload that is sensitive in nature and will be able to assist the vulnerable and elderly in ensuring their rights are adequately protected and that their affairs of handled in the most appropriate way possible.
