Our client, a forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in High Wycombe are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified with accountancy practice experience, strong double entry bookkeeping skills, and a good working knowledge of accountancy cloud software (Xero, Sage and/ or Quickbooks).

You will be working with a varied client base from a range of sectors, providing bookkeeping services and assisting clients with ad hoc queries.

The Role:

Preparation of accounts to trial balance

Management accounts preparation

Undertaking bookkeeping for clients

Preparing VAT returns

Bank reconciliations

Purchase & Sales Ledger

Maintaining up to date complete financial records

Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships

Dealing with client queries

You:

AAT Qualified (ideally)

QBE also considered

Knowledge of cloud software desirable (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks)

Experience of working in practice is essential

Strong double entry bookkeeping skills
