FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

23/10/2014

Munich, Bavaria ( connect2business.co.uk ) October 23, 2014 - CardinalCommerce, the global leader and pioneer in the remote payments industry since 1999, and PAY.ON, a worldwide leading white-label payment platform provider for payment service providers and acquirers, have agreed to integrate Cardinal's Consumer Authentication solution into the PAY.ON platform. The solution will connect Cardinal with over 100 of PAY.ON's payment service provider clients serving more than 50,000 merchants worldwide.

PAY.ON offers comprehensive payment technology expertise. Their fully PCI-certified omni-channel payment Platform as a Service (PaaS) is continually developed to meet the rapidly changing needs of the market. Enabling sophisticated fraud prevention is a core part of PAY.ON's platform, and modular solutions give payment service providers the flexibility to offer merchants tailored fraud prevention which can increase revenues by up to 30%. Cardinal's premium Consumer Authentication solution makes it possible for payment service providers to further fine-tune risk settings, giving their merchants more choice and control in how authentication is deployed. Advanced configuration of 3-D Secure is part of Cardinal's Consumer Authentication, building upon PAY.ON's existing fraud prevention solutions.

Cardinal's Consumer Authentication solution will be fully integrated with PAY.ON's widget based payment page COPYandPAY, and can be used alongside Active Payment Method Selection to give merchants risk management tools for frictionless payments, while effectively combating fraud.

Partnering with Cardinal further expands PAY.ON's portfolio of payment solutions, giving clients the tools to increase sales, reduce chargebacks and interchange fees, and reduce manual reviews.

Nikolaus von Taysen, CSO & Founder at PAY.ON, said, "Offering Cardinal's premium Consumer Authentication solution as part of our modular Platform as a Service (PaaS) gives payment service providers even greater flexibility in determining the perfect risk management and authentication measures for their merchants. Cardinal's sophisticated rules engine boosts sales by reducing abandonment rates caused by unnecessary or unwanted 3-D Secure authentication, and also reduces fraud and chargebacks through suitable authentication for riskier shoppers. This ultimately boosts the bottom line of both payment service providers and their merchants."

Alasdair Rambaud, Senior Vice President of Merchant Services at Cardinal, said, "The Cardinal team is thrilled to start sharing our award-winning Consumer Authentication solution with PAY.ON's clients.

We know that it will complement PAY.ON's other payment offerings, increase revenue and minimize fraud for their PSP clients and their merchants. This partnership with PAY.ON provides another example of how CardinalCommerce can FutureProof our customers' global payment needs."
